My second set of New York Film Festival reviews covers a pair of flawed titles from Eastern Europe. Polish legend Andrzej Wajda's Sweet Rush is slight, but enjoyable, while Romanian up-and-comer Corneliu Porumboiu's more ambitious Police, Adjective begins with promise, but gets fatally bogged down in its heady climactic sequence.
